In this session students and researchers will learn how and where to find information beyond Lancaster University’s library collections and will get the chance to explore a range of grey literature

By the end of this session students/researchers should be able to:

  • Identify the types of material that might be considered grey literature

  • Identify the sources (e.g. people, organisations and websites) of grey literature

  • Consider how grey literature may enhance their research

  • Critically appraise and evaluate grey literature

  • Navigate and use specialist databases and search engines that focus on grey literature
