Studying at University
Studying in higher education may be very different from your previous study, whether you have come from school, college, home or employment. You may be returning to part-time study after a break, or have started your journey in a different academic culture. Higher education may also feel different this year because you have experienced disruption to your studies due to the pandemic.
Once at Lancaster University you will find a range of study support available to you, particularly in your department, but also through your Learning Development team.
Explore the Learning Development pages to find out what is on offer from your Faculty Learning Developers.
If English is not your first language, go to our English Language Development page, where you can keep up-to-date with the available workshops and enrol on the Moodle site once you have your University log-in details.
If you’d like to explore our Maths and Stats support, go to our Maths Learning Development page to find more information about what is available. Once you have your log-in details, you can explore the MASH Moodle site.
Finally, do also take a look at our Learning Development Study Blog, which is full of tips and advice for new students from current students.
