To recognise and celebrate Transgender Awareness Week in November, Library staff worked in partnership with the LGBTQ+ Forum to showcase and promote library resources, including a Transgender Awareness Week Online guide, Transgender Awareness Week Resource list of books & ebooks and Transgender Awareness Week ebooks & audiobooks available through the Libby app.

The events culminated in Transgender Awareness training with Christian Owens of GenderSpace, who shared his lived experiences of being a Trans man - an inspiring, powerful and educational talk. One session was delivered to Library staff, and the other to Lancaster University students.
