Linguistics at Lancaster has been ranked 4th in the UK for Linguistics in Complete University Guide 2020, up from 6th last year and joint 2nd for graduate prospects.
Linguistics at Lancaster University is consistently ranked Top 10 in the three major UK leagues tables nationally. Internationally, we are ranked 12th in the world for Linguistics in the International QS rankings 2019, we have now been in the top 20 in the world for six years in a row.
The 70 subject tables are based on five measures (Student Satisfaction, Research Quality, Research Intensity, Entry Standards and Graduate Prospects) and include 143 universities, university colleges and specialist higher education institutions.
Lancaster University as a whole rises one place to rank seventh out of 131 universities in the UK, its highest ever national ranking in this table, solidifying its status as a top ten University and the North West’s leading university in the TheCompleteUniversityGuide.co.uk 2020 University League Tables, published Wednesday 1 May 2019.
The main University League Table is based on ten measures: Entry Standards, Student Satisfaction, Research Quality, Research Intensity, Graduate Prospects, Student-Staff Ratio, Spending on Academic Services, Spending on Student Facilities, Good Honours Degrees, and Completion. It includes 131 institutions.
