PhD student receives Judith Baxter Award

Pile of red and white pills

One of our PhD students, Alex Krendel, has received the Judith Baxter award from the British Association for Applied Linguistics (BAAL). This particular award recognises excellent new research in language, gender and sexuality.

The BAAL Language, Gender and Sexuality SIG committee commented that Alex’s work is “highly innovative” in focussing on gender, sexism and hate speech in the online Red Pill community.

A big congratulations to Alex. Very well deserved!
