organisation negations<\/li><li>Make sure current members are happy<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How could the core functions of the society and its Committee be improved?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Society&#8217;s social media is very decentralized<ul><li>Need to distribute society information evenly and centralise information<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Remove roles that are unnecessary<\/li><li>Planning e.g.<ul><li>Who is running each event during LANs<\/li><li>Basic LAN preparation<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>More structure in general<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What skills and new approaches can we adopt to improve the Society?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Centralise social media<\/li><li>Publicise events on time<\/li><li>Introduce more variety\/different things to do at socials<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How can we improve the quality of services &amp; activities we provide to members?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Move the County Socials back to Tuesdays instead of Fridays<\/li><li>Make members feel more welcome in the Society<\/li><li>Make a separate Discord server for esports teams<ul><li>Would add dedicated esports related news relevant to members in this server<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Restructure the main Discord server, may make a new server or completely &#8220;reset&#8221; the main server<ul><li>Focus on making the new server member-focused, would need further discussion on this<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What additional services can we offer members?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Society trips, such as the Alton Towers Trip<\/li><li>Ask members what services what they would like to have in the Society<\/li><li>Need to follow up on the Bowland Bar conversion into a space exclusively for the Society<\/li><li>Could go out for drinks after socials\/esports events<ul><li>Expensive and can&#8217;t quite a few members don&#8217;t drink<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What needs do we have that aren&#8217;t met?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Member interest<\/li><li>Member retention<\/li><li>Getting epsorts to affiliate more with the Society and community representation<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General objectives of the Committee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Committee members need to &#8220;pay more attention&#8221;<ul><li>Looking in the Committee chat more frequently for updates<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LAN Plan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following Committee members have stated that they will be available to help set up for the Summer LAN 2:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Karen Cheung<\/li><li>Brent Oates<\/li><li>Kieran Taylor<\/li><li>Ryan Tracey<\/li><li>Mubarak Salawu <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Detroit: Become Human &#8211; Would periodically ask people if they are interested in getting involved in the stream every hour or so<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Considering streaming via Discord screen-sharing<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Committee members that have stated that they will be making at least one quiz round:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Josh Brown (two rounds)<\/li><li>Kieran Taylor (one round)<\/li><li>Noah Valpy-White (one round)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Will be having a colouring competition with physical colouring pages and colouring equipment<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Custom games:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Should use free games for the sake of accessibility<\/li><li>Halo already has a library of custom games<\/li><li>Could do:<ul><li>Overwatch&#8217;s Gun Game<\/li><li>Team Fortress&#8217;s Prop Hunt<\/li><li>Custom Left 4 Dead maps<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pendle Games Night<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Committee feedback states that the Pendle Games Night socials feel more like a LUMAS social<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Decided Senet&#8217;s presence at the Pendle Games Nights would be encouraged<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Need more activities for members to partake in<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Could set up the Switch to play something that isn&#8217;t necessarily Smash Bros.<\/li><li>Decided that Jackbox would be a good idea however, it would be too loud downstairs to play along with the large screen being occupied, both due to Rockband<\/li><li>Could ask members what activities they would like to partake in while they aren&#8217;t playing Rockband<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Need to procure a new Rockband guitar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Themed events for County Socials<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Would require planning better than we currently provide to the County Socials<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">May have to reduce the Smash at the socials but not get rid of it entirely<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Could play Smash games with:<ul><li>Items<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Custom games<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next Meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next meeting will be at 7pm on Friday, the 7th of June.
