It is the general secretary, Mo, creating this week\u2019s instalment of\nthe newsletter. Also, despite being delayed by a week, Freshers\u2019 LAN was by far\none of the best LANs we\u2019ve ever had so thanks to all the committee and people\nthat helped make that possible, the society wouldn\u2019t work without you all. It also\nwouldn\u2019t even be <em>allowed<\/em> to operate without\nmembers and committee according to Student Union guidelines, but you get the\npoint. Back to the super professional, super informative and LUGES gold\nstandard newsletter as always.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aight epic gamers, here are the deets for the next week, maybe it\u2019ll change, maybe not idk lol.<br><strong>Smash Weeklies <\/strong>\u2013 Monday, 6pm-10pm, BNSR 20. My favourite Smash character is JK Simmons portraying J. Jonah Jameson from the Sam Raimi Spiderman trilogy, who\u2019s yours?<br><strong>The County Social<\/strong> &#8211; Tuesday, 8pm \u2013 11pm, County Bar.&nbsp;We\u2019ve got a sports theme for the social this week, which is only fitting considering we are an E-<em>sports<\/em> society. We\u2019ve also got our very own Committee member Katie making the quiz. So, come on over.
