matches and help share them for the weekly newsletter.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Publicity Officer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Explained to <strong>Henry <\/strong>that he would need to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Be able to update Google calendar to ensure that it is up-to-date, in tandem with the General Secretary<\/li><li>Post as advertisements for Society events as early as possible on the appropriate Society social media.<\/li><li>Take pictures at socials for the Society&#8217;s social media.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Social Secretary<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was explained to <strong>Sam<\/strong> that she would need to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Be able to contact JCR through email or Facebook to organise social events.<\/li><li>Be sure to check all the social media for updates with any planned social events.<\/li><li>Try to come up with new ideas for socials.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Smash and Bailrigg Officer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Noah <\/strong>would be handing over to himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Equipment Officer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jack<\/strong> would be handing over to himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Handover of bank signatories<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie<\/strong> and <strong>James<\/strong> will need to be given access to the Society bank account as signatories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General Committee Training<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All new members will need to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Learn how to use the website.<\/li><li>Go through Re-affiliation training through the Union.<\/li><li>Do their Data protection training through the Union.<\/li><li>Learn how to use Union Cloud.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ben<\/strong> also advised the new Committee members to contact LUSU if there is anything more they are unsure about regarding general Committee responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AOB<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>James<\/strong> stated that he got a quote for hoodies and posted this in the new Committee&#8217;s Discord chat.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <strong><em>18:50<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<strong>Meeting End<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Committee Present Ben Cowling (Chair) Mubarak Salawu (Minutes) James Bulman Josh Brown Karen Cheung New Committee Present Rhys Appleby-Crosby James Bulman Sam Innocent Henry Potts Committee Absent Jack Holden Katie Stevenson Ryan Treacy Noah Valpy-White New Committee Absent Jack Holden Katie Stevenson Noah Valpy-White 18:10\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Meeting Start.
