class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie<\/strong> suggests having a channel specifically for non-members so members have their own space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>James\u2019<\/strong> counterpoint would prefer people to be students so we can moderate appropriately.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sam<\/strong> suggests a strike system more stringent than the one used for members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>explains the current strike system to all and agrees with Sam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie <\/strong>suggests creating a new discord section with a few text and voice channels for both members and non-members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>James <\/strong>expresses general agreement and further suggests a \u201cslow mode\u201d feature to be implemented to these channels to prevent spam.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>suggests opening the \u201clooking-for-games\u201d channel to non-members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie<\/strong>, going back to moderation, suggests an image upload ban.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rhys <\/strong>explains how this can be easily implemented through discord itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">General agreement of the suggestions made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie <\/strong>suggests a non-member role to be made for said channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>contemplates making these channels purely public without need for a role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie <\/strong>interjects and says that we can assure that people read the rules if people need to request a role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie <\/strong>expresses that if no one joins, we can just scrap it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ben <\/strong>asks what specific channels be created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>responds with the \u201clooking for games\u201d channel, which most agree with, to start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>then comments on how adequate moderation is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>asks the general committee how the strike system would work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">General consensus is that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>One egregious offence results in an instant ban<\/li><li>Any borderline offence results in a warning and further offence results in a ban<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">In-House Events<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>notes the large number of requests for Minecraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>gives options for modded Minecraft, vanilla and hunger games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Ben <\/strong>says that modded can be laggy and inaccessible.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>James <\/strong>provides the point that hardcore minecraft players would be less happy, but it might be for the best.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>suggests shutting down the server every so often for hunger games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James<\/strong> brings up the problem with moderation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Ben <\/strong>says that moderation won\u2019t be possible unless we have a reporting system.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">General acceptance of the suggestions made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>mentions the suggestion for Borderlands 3 and there is a consensus that it can be done in looking-for-games rather than having a LUGES event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>lists GTA IV as a requested game but no one knows how that works so James says he will look into it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discussion turns to Jackbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>says that we would want to stream it and that having anyone from Twitch could cause moderation problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Rhys <\/strong>says that, with OBS, we can hide the room so that viewers who aren\u2019t in discord can only join the audience.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>suggests a test run through discord to make sure the event works before making it official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>asks whether we should open to all members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Ben <\/strong>says that we can\u2019t stop them, but we can censor with the later Jackboxes.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>says that it is only available on Jackbox 5 and 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>suggests Using OBS to censor offensive submissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rhys <\/strong>says that he agrees with the current suggestions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sam <\/strong>suggests disciplinary procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">General agreement of this suggestion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>told <strong>Ben <\/strong>to download Grammarly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Promotion of Esports events<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sam <\/strong>suggests having an esports results channel in the main discord so people are more aware of what we do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sam <\/strong>then goes on to suggest having celebratory events for teams doing well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>has not yet joined the esports server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>asks what specifically we promote concerning this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Rhys <\/strong>explains how we can show how well we do in each split of each league and gives examples of things we could be promoting.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>requests <strong>Rhys <\/strong>to check the LUGES Twitter account to see what different leagues are promoting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>suggests having a separate channel for results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Sam <\/strong>agrees with having a channel showing off each week&#8217;s esports results people could mute.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">General agreement of this suggestion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rhys <\/strong>agrees to make these results announcements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>James <\/strong>says that this idea is pretty far off due to current events and thus we should revisit this in a future meeting.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>suggests streaming the announcements from the results channel in the esports discord to another channel in the main one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Rhys <\/strong>notes that any captain can type anything in this.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>notes again that we should revisit this in a future meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>13:50<\/em> &#8211; Rhys Leaves<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reintroduction of Game Roles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>asks to introduce the game roles so people can be pinged if there is important stuff regarding that game and they have their own channels that the roles access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie <\/strong>suggests having just genre-specific channels so that we don\u2019t have as many unused channels and people can still be pinged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie <\/strong>notes how popular games have their own channels (eg Minecraft, animal crossing).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie <\/strong>does not think we need to change the channels but is fine with people being pinged by what game they play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>James <\/strong>is in general agreement of this.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>is concerned about being spammed and describes it as a worst-case scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie <\/strong>maintains her stance as there were so many unused channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is a general consensus of this idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>needs a Nintendo switch (he is angry).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ben <\/strong>asks how members would be able to add themselves to these roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>James <\/strong>suggests a new channel for requesting and creating game roles.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ben <\/strong>is in general agreement of this idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>comments on how people are going to be in demand of things to do as of current events, so we need to make sure that we provide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Discord General Meeting\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie <\/strong>thinks that we won\u2019t need a general meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>works through the logistics but the general consensus is that it would take too long, and connectivity issues would be an issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">General consensus against a Discord General Meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie <\/strong>suggests that, if needed, we can do a survey to allow people to express their opinions to the exec for us to look through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie <\/strong>and <strong>James <\/strong>continue to discuss how the executive can communicate effectively with members without a general meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Issues with the Bank during current circumstances<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie <\/strong>expresses concern about how to hand over signatories of bank statements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Ben <\/strong>suggests calling banks up and having to do it all by post.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sam <\/strong>offers to ask family who work in that department for advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie <\/strong>says how Josh messaged instructions and stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ben <\/strong>suggests calling up so we know exactly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie <\/strong>expresses concern over lockdown and her ability to post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>James <\/strong>and <strong>Ben <\/strong>write out a plan of action to ask the previous treasurer for bank details and then call up the bank for advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AOB<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sam <\/strong>asks who would have the time, and computing power to run online events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Going through people, the exec list <strong>Sam<\/strong>, <strong>James<\/strong>, <strong>Ben<\/strong>.
