I also would like to personally welcome Katie<\/strong> to exec as our co-opted Vice<\/strong> President.<\/strong> It’s only until the AGM but she will do a fantastic job!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yesterday we held an general meeting and voted on what Exec roles will be available for the upcoming elections at our AGM. We’re kicking out the existing exec so all roles will be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You can apply for as many roles as you want but can only be elected to one position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You can nominate yourself here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n To see the electoral guidelines: here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Also note that next week will be the second Rockband event of the term on Wednesday so start getting your requests in and we’ll try our best to sort it before then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Friday next week will be the first bar crawl of this term. Nothing special so far, just some nerds having drinks across campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Smash weeklies bracket will be moved forward from 7pm to 6:30pm just to start the tournament a little earlier. But the devs put in some special seeds that do special things. For example, “CHRISTMAS” will make everything christmasy, “BL00 00DY” will make everything extra bloody and gory. That is just 2 and there are dozens.
