Lisa Denderuk

We are pleased to confirm that the recipient of this year’s Outstanding Management and Information Technology Student 2020 is Lisa Denderuk. This annual prize, which started in 2011, celebrates the graduating cohort of the innovative BSc (Hons) Management and Information Technology (MIT) degree and this year’s award was made in partnership with Informed Solutions, who kindly donated the prize through Tom Weeks, Technical Director at Informed Solutions and an alumnus of Lancaster University.

Acting on behalf of Informed Solutions, Dr Lara Pecis, Director of the MIT Programme at Lancaster, virtually presented a prize and trophy to Lisa Denderuk for achieving the highest overall mark on the programme. On presenting Lisa with her award, Dr Pecis said: “From the Organisation, Work and Technology department, many congratulations to Lisa on her great achievements in not only obtaining a 1st class MIT degree but also on becoming our MIT graduate of the year.’

On receiving her award, Lisa said: “I feel extremely honoured to be graduating from Lancaster University with the MIT graduate of the year award. I have been given opportunities to embrace many challenges and all the hard work paid off.”

We would like to congratulate Lisa, and wish her all the best with her future career.
