The meeting will be held in The Biology Lecture Theatre on Lancaster University’s main campus.  Information on how to get to Lancaster University and navigating the campus can be found in the sections below.

Lancaster University is set in 360 acres of parkland and lies approximately three miles south of the City of Lancaster. The campus is easily accessible via road and rail with direct rail services from London Euston station on the West Coast Main Line.  The University campus is a 10 minute taxi journey from the city centre and railway station.  If you are driving and staying at the adjacent Lancaster House Hotel, the hotel car park is free for guests.  If you plan to park on the main campus, be sure to park in a visitor bay and display a valid ticket (which can be purchased from the machines).

The campus is largely pedestrianised with a semi-covered footpath known as “the spine” running north -south along the length of the campus (left to right in the campus map below – click on the image below to download a .pdf version).  Buses arrive in the underpass beneath the central Alexandra Square (31 on campus map).  A convenient drop-off/pick-up point for taxis is outside University House (32 on campus map).  Both locations are a short walk along the spine to the conference venue.

All of the conference venues (talks, lunch/refreshment breaks, poster session and ice-breaker reception) are clustered around the Biology Lecture Theatre (43a in the campus map and also shown in the detailed venue map below).  For delegates staying at the Lancaster House Hotel, this is a short walk from the conference venues.
