All schools are required to have a designated Sustainability Lead and a Climate Action Plan in place by the end of the year. Join us for an online sharing session where we will swap tips on how we can best engage and support schools to develop their Climate Action Plans with a Morecambe Bay flair!
This year's MBC Conference on 4th July will focus on helping schools around Morecambe Bay to create their Climate Action Plans, in partnership with Nature Parks, Climate Ambassadors and Let's Go Zero. In advance of the conference, this online workshop is for organisations interested in understanding more about Climate Action Plans and how they can adapt their work to fit into them.
What you can expect from this session:
- Hear from colleagues from Let’s Go Zero, Climate Ambassadors and National Education Nature Parks about the four pillars that make up Climate Action Plans; adaptation, decarbonisation, biodiversity, and climate education and skills.
- Tips and support on how you can best translate your work into the language of Climate Action Plans so that schools can easily include your organisation in their plans.
- An opportunity to reflect on your programmes and network with likeminded colleagues from across the Bay.
