Lancaster's Masters in Management ranked 6th in the UK by Financial Times

Lancaster University Management School’s Masters in Management has jumped 5 places to be ranked 6th in the UK, the Financial Times reveals today.

Lancaster's MSc Management has also climbed an impressive 12 places to be ranked 61st in the world in the 2018 FT ranking of the top 100 Masters in Management courses. Rankings reveal 89 per cent of Lancaster's students seeking jobs found employment within three months of completing the course and students' salaries increased by $2.5k from last years’ results. Additionally, the careers service provision on the programme was ranked 18th in the world.

Professor Mark Shackleton from Lancaster University Management School said: "Today's ranking is a reflection of the dedication of our first-class teaching staff and the efforts of our fantastic students.

"We are fortunate to welcome some of the world's most talented students to Lancaster and this programme sets them on the right path to become successful and authentic global managers."

Martine Dawber, Career Advancement Officer on the course, said: "Professional and Career Development is a highly prioritised, integrated part of this programme. We are very proud of the dedicated individual support provided to students and alumni on MSc Management, now globally ranked as 18th for careers service provision."

Students are also quick to recognise the quality of the course and the significant role it is likely to play in their future success. At the end of the programme, recent graduate, Jordan Fry, a Commercial Finance Graduate at Samsung Electronics said: "I'd like to thank lecturers and staff for putting together a great programme and for giving us the tools to succeed in our future."

Lancaster University Management School is quadruple accredited by the AACSB, EQUIS, the Association of MBAs and the Small Business charter. The Masters in Management course is also accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and the Association of MBAs (AMBA).
