Cancellation Policy

In order to maximise the impact of the Universities resources we apply a cancellation policy for OED workshops and programmes.

We understand that cancellations are sometimes unavoidable; however, if there is no option but to cancel, please email oed@lancaster.ac.uk . The majority of the costs for internal development activity is borne centrally by the OED budget and is not charged to departments. However, we reserve the right to re-charge £50 to departments for late cancellations (cancellations received less than 5 working days prior to an event) and £100 for non-attendance. In cases of illness or other mitigating circumstances we will exercise sensible discretion.

Additional conditions apply to those joining certificated programmes, please see the individual programme handbooks for further details.
