Vice-Chancellor Professor Andy Schofield welcomes you to our Online Open Day for potential undergraduate students who are considering joining Lancaster University in 2021. In this short film, he introduces the University and tells you what you can expect from the event.

10:00am Introduction with Cat and Tai A short introduction to the day from Cat and Tai.
10:05am Welcome to Lancaster

An introduction to Lancaster University, presented by Dame Professor Sue Black, our Pro Vice-Chancellor for Engagement.

Find out what makes us who we are, about our location in the UK and the local region.

10:40am Applying to Lancaster Find out what we're looking for in an application, followed by a Q and A session with Claire Roberts from our Admissions team and Jen Birdsall from our UK Recruitment Team.
11:20am Your home at Lancaster A staff and student panel on the accommodation available at Lancaster and our collegiate system. You'll have the chance to ask staff and students any questions relating to these areas.
12:25pm Student finance A brief introduction to Student Finance England from Nichola Coleman of our Recruitment team followed by a Q and A session with Nichola, Jen Birdsall and one of our students.
12:50pm Studying at Lancaster A chance to hear from our student panel about their experiences of studying at Lancaster, including placement years, study abroad and the learning styles of different courses.
1:20pm The student experience at Lancaster A chance to ask our student panel any questions about their experiences at Lancaster and what it is like to study here.
1:50pm What next? A wrap up of the day from Cat and Tai, including how you can find out more about Lancaster, our upcoming webinars, online events and how to keep in touch.
