This list is a general "umbrella" list for several other mailbase lists, namely
- centr-and-east-euro-music (for discussion of Central and Eastern European music)
- euromusicology (for cross-European musicological contacts)
- ilm (for academic discussion of Iberian and Latin American music)
- med-and-ren-music (for academic discussion of medieval and renaissance music)
- musical-aesthetics (for academic discussion of the philosophy and aesthetics of music)
- nineteenth-century-music (for academic discussion of the music of that period),
and all members of those lists will receive all messages sent to musicology-all, without duplication if members subscribe to more than one of the lists. For general discussion, musicology-all members will probably find the more subject-specific lists most useful: they are non-moderated lists, whereas musicology-all is moderated and confines its scope mainly to announcements of general interest to everyone.
