In October 2021 Pentland Centre Director Jan Bebbington, gave the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) annual PD Leake Lecture. This is a crucial CPD opportunity for ICAEW members, and others, and in the year when the UK hosted COP26, it was fitting that the title of the lecture was 'Accounting in the Anthropocene'. As is usual, the ICAEW offers a practitioner response to the lecture, this year provided by Director of Sustainability, Richard Spencer.
