The Pentland Centre and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) are in collaboration. The WBCSD is a CEO-led organisation made up of businesses that are striving to create a sustainable business future. Committed to education of today and tomorrow’s future business leaders, the WBCSD education partnership engages students and staff with business leaders across the WBCSD network. Since Paris 2015, Lancaster students have worked as session hosts at the WBCSD annual events, with the overarching ambition to educate, inspire career ambitions and future management practices. Student participation has previously been sponsored in part by Lancaster University, Santander UK, and crowd sourcing initiatives.
