I am a PhD student and working under supervision of Prof.Gordon Blair and Mtthew Rowe. My Major area of research work is Cloud Computing and Machine Learning. My resaerch aims to use machine learning technique at IaaS level to enhance cloud adoption strategies for data intensive applications.
I am member of Middleware Group, for my talks click here .

Cloud Computing

  • Cloud computing is not a new technology instead it is evolved from various existing technologies like Grid computing, Utility computing, Virtualization and Autonomic computing. Here is one of the standard definitions of Cloud computing by the national Institute of Standards and Technology.

NIST definition of cloud computing Cloud computing is a model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction.
