PPR in India
PPR in India is a third year module that combines study in India with a dissertation upon return to Lancaster.
The module is taught intensively at Visthar, a non-profit organization committed to social justice, located just outside of Bangalore, India. Taking place over a period of four weeks during July and August, the programme includes daily lectures, seminars, excursions, and cultural activities. Upon return to Lancaster, students write a supervised dissertation on any aspect of Indian politics, philosophy, or religion.
Visthar is a secular, non-profit organization based in India that is committed to issues of social justice. For more information, visit Visthar's website.
