Research Overview

My research interest is in palliative care in advanced dementia. In the past, I have focused on research highlighting how ageism and age-based stereotyping impact health-seeking behaviours in older adults. I am currently part of a Horizon-funded project, In-Touch (2024-2028), aimed at improving the quality of life of people with later-stage dementia by utilising non-pharmacological palliative care approaches.
