=phett to open to y^m: soe with ye light of Xt they might
see Xt always present with y^m: whoe was ye author of
there faith & ye finisher thereof:

Soe opninge ye first couenant & sheweinge y^m: ye types &
ye substans & bringinge y^m: to Xt ye 2^d couenant
& howe they had beene in ye night of Apostacy since
ye Apostles days: but now ye euerlastinge Gospell was
preacht againe y^t brought life & immortality to light
& ye day of ye Lorde was come & Xt was come to teach
his people himselfe by his light Grace power & spiritt

And after I went to a village & many people accompanyed

mee & I was setting in a house full of people & declareinge
ye worde of life vnto y^m: I cast my eye vpon an vncleane
--a witch ____woman & tolde her shee was a witch: & I was moued
in ye Lords power to speak sharpely to her: & soe shee went
out of ye roome: & people tolde me y^t I had discouered a great
thinge: & all ye country: lookt vpon her to bee a witch

And alsoe att another time there came in such an one Into
Swarthmoore hall In ye meetinge & I was moued to
speake sharpely to her & tolde her shee was a witch
alsoe & ye people confessed to ye same thinge & saide all ye
Country lookt vpon her to bee such an one alsoe

And there came in another woman & stoode a litle off
from mee & I cast my eye vpon her: & I saide shee

they might know God & Christ & the Scriptures & to have

to open to them, so with the light of Christ they might
see Christ always present with them who was the author of
their faith & the finisher thereof.

So opening the first covenant & showing them the types &
the substance & bringing them to Christ the Second Covenant
& how they had been in the night of Apostacy since
the Apostles’ days: but now the everlasting Gospel was
preached again that brought life & immortality to light
& the day of the Lord was come & Christ was come to teach
his people himself by his light, grace, power, & spirit.

And many hundreds was convinced that day.
