ye countryes Into Bishopricke: & had large meetinges &
had a very large meetinge att Justice Pearsons house where
many was convinced;

deeds they had done; and all the evill thoughts they had thought; and all
the ungodly words they had spoken; and that was y:e light which Christ had
enlightned them wthall wch is Christ the great Prophett, wch tells every one
all y:t ever they have done ______

& soe I passed through Northumber
land to Dalʌrran water where there was great meetinges
& ye preists threatned to come but none came: & ye
euerlastinge worde of life was freely preacht & freely receued

And then I passed into
Northumberland where I had great service for y:e truth there and had many meettings ___

And there came many to dispute in Northumberland: & pleaded
agst perfection but I declared Ivnto ym: yt Adam & eue was
perfect before they fell & all yt God made was perfect:
& ye Imperfection came by ye Deuill & ye fall: & Xt

butt one of ye professors saide: yt Job: saide what shall

And I went to Newcastle for there | are many
professors who had reported y:t Quakers would fly like butterflies, they
would not come to great Townes, so when I came there I sent for them being
some of them the Aldermen of y:e Town; but they would not come at mee
so I went to one of their houses; whose name was Thomas Ledger; and
reasoned wth him, and hee said the scriptures was above y:e spirit and was
above angells, and was the word of God; and I told him y:e word

himselfe both the word and spirit wch reconciles to y:e

to one another; and that hee must know it in his heart and Mouth wch divides
his good words from his bad and his good thoughts from his bad, and so
I passed away after I had a meetting wth friends and had spoken in
their streets;
