Talking to other people can really help with getting a different point of view.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can contact the <a href=\"\/react-supporter\/\">REACT SUPPORTER<\/a> and share your thoughts and see if they can help you with this task.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Or you might want to talk to other relatives in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/reacttoolkit\/react-forum\/\">REACT GROUP<\/a> about their difficulties and how they have learnt to find new perspectives that have been helpful.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Remember, this is not just \u2018positive thinking\u2019. It\u2019s about spotting thinking traps that can make the situation feel even worse. Sometimes just a slightly different perspective can make things feel a lot better.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recommended Resources<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The Resource Directory lists these resources (under \u2018Managing Stress (Thinking Differently)\u2019 in the Topic Specific Information section) but some websites which you may find useful in providing information on thinking differently to manage stress include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some people find that the practice of \u2018Mindfulness\u2019 can be helpful.
