An online Study Event featuring discussion of new developments in the field of archaeology. This event features video presentations available in advance as well as an opportunity to ask questions of the speakers at a live Q&A session on Saturday 6 March from 2:00pm - 3:30pm.

Please note: this year’s Forum is taking place online only. All video presentations will be available to view in advance. The Regional Heritage Centre is also presenting a live question and answer session, held online on Saturday 6 March 2021, 2:00pm - 3.30pm, with a panel of speakers who have contributed to the filmed presentations. The session will be chaired by Dr Eleri Cousins, Romanist at Lancaster University’s History Department. You are encouraged to watch the filmed presentations in advance, but they will also be available online for an extended period after the live event. Full details will be provided on booking.

· Professor Andrew Binley, Lancaster Environment Centre, Lancaster University - ‘Ground Penetrating Radar: unravelling the mystery and application to Roman Lancaster investigations’

· Dr Dot Boughton, Assistant Curator, WallCAP (Tullie House Museum & Art Gallery) - ‘Late Bronze Age Metalwork Hoards from Morecambe Bay: setting the Scotforth Hoard in context’
