{"id":651,"date":"2020-08-25T10:13:59","date_gmt":"2020-08-25T09:13:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/sds\/?p=651"},"modified":"2020-08-25T10:24:27","modified_gmt":"2020-08-25T09:24:27","slug":"call-for-participants-for-ict-prioritisation-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/sds\/call-for-participants-for-ict-prioritisation-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for participants for &#8216;ICT Prioritisation&#8217; project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In the School of Computing and Communications at Lancaster University, we are conducting a study into how ICT (Information Communication Technology) researchers and technologists prioritise and negotiate ICT innovation for sustainable future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If you are a researcher or technologist in the ICT sector, please consider participating.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The study consists of a short demographic survey and an online group interview with other researchers\/technologists via Teams. The group interview will last no longer than an hour, will be scheduled at a time to suit you and the other participants, and will involve:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8211; reflecting on your experiences of working in ICT,<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8211; discussing what innovation topics you and other participants think the ICT sector should prioritise, including a \u2018prioritisation exercise\u2019 to help you negotiate and make these decisions collectively as a group,<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8211; and your feedback on the \u2018prioritisation exercise\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As a thank you for your time, a \u00a310 Amazon voucher will be given to you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If you are interested in participating, please contact the primary researcher:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Kelly Widdicks<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">k.v.widdicks@lancaster.ac.uk<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the School of Computing and Communications at Lancaster University, we are conducting a study into how ICT (Information Communication Technology) researchers and technologists prioritise and negotiate ICT innovation for sustainable future.
