The Migrancy Research Group at Lancaster University is presenting a workshop for PhD students and Early Career Researchers with professor Sandro Mezzadra.

Update: Due to extraordinary circumstances, the lecture has had to be cancelled. The workshop is still going ahead, however.

The Migrancy Research Group at Lancaster University is very pleased to announce that Professor Sandro Mezzadra, political theorist based at University of Bologna and author (with Brett Neilson) of Border as Method (2013) and The Politics of Operations (2019) will be giving a Public Lecture at The Storey Institute in Lancaster, on 19 February 2020 at 6.30pm.

As part of this event, we are holding a workshop with Professor Mezzadra on theme of Globalization, borders, and new geographies of inequality, open to PhD students and early career researchers, to take place earlier in the day on 19 February 2020. The workshop will be a rare opportunity to engage in direct conversation with a distinguished scholar of contemporary capitalism and global borders and to exchange ideas with other members of the Migrancy Research community at Lancaster University.
