Member Bookings

As a member, you'll benefit from a variety of facilities and activities being included for free. Depending on the level of your membership, you may even benefit from free classes too. All classes and activities can be booked online.

Please note: We are unable to take bookings for anything at the moment. Take a look at our Roadmap to Reopening for details of when our facilties will be available.

We've gathered information to answer some of the common questions we get asked. Take a look at the answers below before booking.

Accordion

  • Can I invite a non-member guest to play on the courts?

    Yes you can. As a member you can book the courts directly and in most cases free of charge*. Any guests will need to pay the Pay As You Play rate and can do so either at reception or via the online booking portal here. They'll need to register their details with us first.

  • Can I hire Tennis Racquets and balls?

    The Sports Centre have all the equipment you'll need for any activity, all for hire and priced accordingly. More information on pricing is available on the Prices page.

  • Are there any more questions to go here?

    Yes, the Sports Centre Team are providing new information as we speak which will be published here before the site is launched.

  • How far in advance can I make a booking?

    Bookings can be made from 7am up to 7 days in advance.

  • I'm having difficulty booking online, is there another way I can book?

    If you are experiencing issues when booking online, or unable to access the internet, you can contact reception on (01524) 510600 and we can book your activity for you.

  • Can I book a back-to-back sessions online?

    To control the availability of our facilities and to allow everyone to access them fairly, we do not allow back-to-back sessions to be booked. Session times vary from activity to activity so please check the website for more information if you are unsure.

  • How do I cancel my booking?

    Bookings can be cancelled via the online bookings portal, iLancaster (students and staff only) or by calling reception on (01524) 510600. Our facilities can be in high demand at times so we appreciate you cancelling your session with us well in advance of your session time. There is no charge for cancelling your session but failure to cancel on a repeat basis would result in a charge being applied to your account.

  • Will I be charged if I forget to cancel my booking?

    It is important to remember to cancel your session if you can’t attend as spaces in sessions are limited. Although you won’t be charged if you forget to cancel one session any further breaches would result in a charge being applied to your account.
