Wear the correct equipment at all times
The correct footwear and safety equipment must be worn when climbing. If you do not have this, you can hire the equipment from reception for a fee.
More information on equipment hire is available on the Booking & Prices page.
-
Do not misuse the equipment
For your safety, and the safety of others, you must use the equipment the way it is intended for use. All climbers must sign a statement to confirm they are capable of using the equipment properly and comfortably.
The equipment provided by the centre is cleaned between sessions and checked by one of the instructors. On completing your session please place all equipment in the correct place and check its condition. If any damage is found, please report this immediately.
Any misuse of equipment will result in the immediate end of your session.

Arrive promptly for your session
Please arrive as close to your session time as possible and a maximum of 5 minutes early. Dressed appropriately, ready to start your session. We want to restrict the amount of unnecessary time people spent in changing rooms and ask that you shower at home, rather than using the facilities here.

Respect other peoples abilities
There may be other people using the wall at the same time. It is important that you maintain proper social distancing and do not mix equipment. other peoples abilities vary from your own so be mindful of that and allow each other plenty of time and space.
