047 Sima de los Rellanos
South Vega VN50389550 Alt. 290m Depth 120m

Updated 19th February 1999

Three entrances: highest one is a 9m pitch which can be reached by entering the middle hole and climbing down 3m. A steep slope leads down to a window into the main pitch which descends about 30m to a slope of unstable boulders and then a drop of 60m to a rubble floor in a large chamber. The third and lowest entrance leads directly to the unstable slope via a pitch of about 40m.

The shaft appears to cut through all the cavernous beds down to valley bottom level without intersecting any horizontal development. Only English descent by Tobo and Dennis.
