According to Cavernas y Simas de Espaņa (Puig et al, 1896), a shaft is situated in the centre of the natural depression, of some 500sq.m, to the north of the Peña de Mullir and to the southwest of the valle de Aras.

There is no known shaft in the centre of the Hoya de Yusa: any hole is likely to have been covered by a farmer.
