915 Cueva de Porquería
Cobadal VN48979827 Alt. 200m Length 125m V Range 4.6m -3.4m
Entrance below farm house in a household rubbish-filled depression. A narrow rift, when excavated of nappies, bed springs, etc., leads to a slope down into a small stream. Upstream is easy going for 30m to a low bedding with a good draught. A climb up here enters a larger section with no way on.
The water level in the bedding was lowered to produce a 2m duck and entry to a 5m high and 2m wide passage. The passage continued straight for about 30m, filled with water on the left and sloping up to contain stal and flows. A crawl leads on the right for about 10m before closing up.
The main way turns right with 30cm airspace over a smelly floor in a stooping passage for 15m. A T junction is met with roots to the right and to the left a narrow rift with daylight and a stream coming in on the right hand wall.
Near the original entrance, downstream, the water disappears through a boulder choke through which a lot of water can be heard.
