1514 Cave
South Vega VN5164(4)9498(6) Altitude 433m Length 112m Depth
8m
Over 100m of phreatic passage with three entrances, rather higher than
Cueva Adillos (34), another phreatic remnant. The
cave consists of mostly walking-sized tubes.
In places it appears that the original stoney floor has been pushed up on
each side, to deepen the centre of the passage for humans or animals.
Some prehistoric pottery has been found.
