About Me

Welcome to my online space!

I am currently a PhD student at the STOR-i centre for doctoral training in statistics and operational research. My research is focused on optimisation, with an emphasis on Vehicle Routing Problems.

Prior to joining STOR-i, I completed my Master’s in mathematics at Lancaster University, during which I completed a research internship focusing on FC groups and profinite groups.

Outside of mathematics, I am avid reader and fan of fantasy worlds, some of my favourites being the Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R Tolkien and The First Law series by Joe Abercombie (a Lancastrian author). I also count myself as a collector of fun facts, for example, the worlds oldest horse “Old Billy” hailing from my home town, lived to 62 years old, almost double the life expectancy (up to 35 years) of the average Shire horse!
