My name is Kes, and I joined STOR-i in Autumn 2019, after a Maths undergraduate degree and a year working for the Office for National Statistics. I&#8217;m particularly fascinated by the areas of stochastic simulation and optimisation, but I&#8217;m interested in a wide variety of statistics and operational research topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I enjoy live-action roleplay, and spend some weekends attending and helping out with events around the country. I&#8217;m also keen on tabletop, and both play and run games with the aid of Lancaster University Roleplaying Society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love to sing and play a variety of instruments, particularly the flute, the oboe, and the lyre harp.
