I have done a lot of theoretical maths but my strengths lie in applied mathematics. A lecturer who I worked closely with in Edinburgh recognised this and they recommended STOR-i to me (In 2019 I had discussed with them options for further study in the field of Operational Research). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After doing my own research, I decided that the programme offered by STOR-i was a very good fit with my personal interests. The MRes part provided an opportunity to hone my research skills in preparation for the PhD. The PhD part has provided an opportunity to work on real-world problems, supervised by lecturers at Lancaster University and a lecturer at our academic partner, MIT Sloan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
