Welcome
I am a PhD student, enrolled at the STOR-i programme at Lancaster University My current research interests revolve around optimal decision-making applied to the field of clinical trial research.
I graduated from the University of Patras in 2020 after doing a 4-year-course on Mathematics, which specialised in Statistics. My course was focused mostly on building a solid math foundation which is why I consider myself able to do both theoretical and applied research. My good undergraduate performance gave me the opportunity to move to the UK for my Master’s degree.
I graduated with a distinction from the MSc in Statistics at Imperial College London in 2021, with the financial support of the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation. It was a very productive and stimulating year, albeit very demanding. The MSc provided me with outstanding training in both theoretical and applied statistics while also training me to work under pressure. In 2022 I graduated with a distinction from my MRes with STOR-i at Lancaster University.
