Your financial award is based on your year of entry and the financial package remains the same for the duration of your course providing that you meet the criteria in each year of study.

    £2,000 Scholarship For undergraduate, full-time, UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man students who achieve A level grades of A*, A*, A (or equivalent academic qualifications, eg at BTEC level) who place Lancaster as their firm UCAS choice and achieved 5 GSCEs at grade A/7 or higher. An award of £2,000 in the first year of study only
    £1,000 Scholarship For undergraduate, full-time, UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man students who achieve A level grades of A, A, A (or equivalent academic qualifications, e.g. at BTEC level) who place Lancaster as their firm UCAS choice and achieved 5 GSCEs at grade A/7 or higher. An award of £1,000 each year of study providing satisfactory academic progress is met.

    Lancaster Bursary For undergraduate, full-time, UK students with an *assessed household income of £30,000 or less. An award of £1,000 for the first year of study followed by £1,000 for each year of study providing that the household income remains below the relevant threshold.

     If you are eligible for the £2,000 Scholarship you will be automatically eligible for the £1,000 Scholarship.  You can receive a combination of all the above awards if you meet the criteria.

    *Assessed household income definition - where income is assessed via Student Finance or the Student Awards Agency for Scotland.

    Excellence Scholarship

    The Excellence Scholarship forms part of the Unconditional Offer Scheme for undergraduate, full-time, UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man students with outstanding academic profiles within a number of academic departments for the first year of study only.

    Under this scheme, unconditional offer holders from the UK who achieve excellence in their qualifications (A*A*A at ‘A’ level or equivalent) will receive a £3,000 Excellence Scholarship.  Students who don’t achieve the Excellence Scholarship criteria of A* A* A, but nevertheless achieve the published entry grades for the course, will receive a scholarship of £1,000.

    Lancaster Bursary For undergraduate, full-time, UK students with an *assessed household income of £30,000 or less. An award of £1,000 for the first year of study followed by £1,000 for each year of study providing that the household income remains below the relevant threshold.

    If you are eligible for the £2,000 Scholarship you will be automatically be entitled to receive the £1,000 Scholarship.  You can receive a combination of all the above awards if you meet the criteria.

    For undergraduate, full-time, UK students whose household income is less than £42,620 and who achieve A level grades of A*, A, A (or equivalent academic qualifications eg at BTEC level) and who place Lancaster as their firm choice. An award of £1,000 per year providing the income remains below the relevant threshold and satisfactory academic progression is met
