Care Leavers Bursary

|Value of Award||£2,000 per year for each year of study. The bursary will be paid in four equal instalments of £500 at the start of November, January, April and June.|
Lancaster University currently provides a package of Care Leavers support including a Support Officer, 365 day accommodation and financial advice. We recognise that many Care Leavers may commence University with more financial worries than other students.
Lancaster University has a bursary to support students whom are Care Leavers. To qualify you must be under 25 on the first day of the first academic year of the course and have supporting evidence that indicates you have been in care for a period of at least three months since the age of 14. Evidence should be from a Local Authority, Social Worker or other professional body.

You may also be eligible for support if you are a young person who has been made homeless and placed in supported accommodation by your Local Authority.
