Awards are made for voluntary activities undertaken in the UK, or abroad. This may involve attending a course or conference, an academic project, a study visit or an expedition. Normally the College cannot support compulsory elements in a degree scheme (eg a year abroad, a field course etc.) which are the responsibility of an academic department.
Successful candidates will be asked to document their travels on the Facebook site ‘County College Travel Awards’ and provide photos of their experience for County College, LUSU events and marketing purposes.
An application form can be downloaded from the County College website: http://www.thecountycollege.com/committees-and-awards . Completed forms must be signed and sent to: Ali Moorhouse, The County College, Lancaster University, LA1 4YD.
