Value of Award Awards amounts of £500, £1,000, £1,500 or £2,000 depending on assessed financial need.
General Information

Donald Watt was a mature student at Lancaster University in the late 1980's, taking a degree in Religious Studies. After his death in 2008 his widow Margot established a legacy pledge to the University. On Margot's death in 2014 the legacy was made to the University.

This fund is to be used to support undergraduate students who run into financial difficulty whilst at University. Students supported from the fund must be studying a course within FASS (Art, Design, English & Creative Writing, Philosophy, Religious Studies and Theatre Studies (those on joint degree schemes including one of the specified subjects are also eligible)

Students will be expected to complete feedback on how the award has assisted them so the information can be used to encourage other donors to support Lancaster students.
