FfWG offers Foundation Grants to help women graduates with their living expenses (not fees) while registered for study or research at an approved institution of higher education in Great Britain. The criteria are the proven needs of the applicant and their academic calibre. The Foundation’s decision is final and no subsequent correspondence will be entered into.
Grants are offered to British and overseas students alike at postgraduate level. Any subject or field of study will be considered. There is no upper age limit. Evidence of ability to pay fees is required. Grant holders must submit a written report on their year’s work within six weeks of the end of their academic year. The grants will be a contribution only towards the living expenses of one year’s academic study or research.
The grants cannot be used by students applying for study in the next academic year and cannot be used to pay University fees. They also cannot be used for a second first degree. Awards will not be made for fieldwork outside the UK or for conferences or seminars. Applicants must not apply before they have completed at least two months of their course.
Application forms for a Foundation Grant may be obtained by email only from The Grants Administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org
