Open Day prize draw terms and conditions

  1. The prize draw is open to people who attended undergraduate open days hosted by Lancaster University between July 2023 and October 2023, inclusive.
  2. Staff and students at Lancaster University involved with the organisation or delivery of the events are not permitted to enter.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  5. The rules of the prize draw and how to enter are as follows: Lancaster University will email attendees a link to a feedback survey after each event. Entrants submit a completed survey sharing their open day experience, including their name and email address. The competition runs between July 2023 and October 2023. Outside of these dates, no further entries into the competition will be accepted.
  6. The prizes are a £50 Amazon voucher for each of the four winners. The prizes are as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Lancaster University is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this prize draw.
  7. The prize draw winners will be selected randomly from all entrants across the qualifying events, using a random number generator.
  8. The winners will be notified in November 2023, and an e-voucher will be sent to them, using the email address submitted in the survey.
  9. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. Any personal data collected will not be cross-referenced with any other University-held data or the responses to the survey.
  10. Personal data will be retained for 6 weeks after the winners have been notified, after which point it will be securely deleted.

  12. Lancaster University reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
