Postgraduate Digital Open Event, November 2022

Terms and conditions

  1. The prize draw is open to people participating in the Postgraduate Digital Open Event - Three days of Lancaster between 1st November 2022 and 3rd November 2022, inclusive.
  2. Lancaster University staff and students involved with the events' organisation or delivery are not permitted to enter.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  5. The rules of the prize draw and how to enter are as follows: Lancaster University will email participants a link to a feedback survey after each event. Entrants will submit a completed survey sharing their experience of the digital open event, including their name and email address. The competition runs during November 2022. Outside of this period, we will not accept further entries into the competition.
  6. The prizes are as follows: a prize of £30 Amazon voucher for each of the three winners. The prizes are as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Lancaster University is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this prize draw.
  7. The prize draw winners will be selected randomly from all entrants across the qualifying events using a random number generator.
  8. We will notifiy the winners in December 2022. We will send an e-voucher to them using the email address submitted in the survey.
  9. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely following current UK data protection legislation. Without the entrant's prior consent, we will not disclose personal data to a third party. Any personal data collected will not be cross-referenced with any other University-held data or the responses to the survey.
  10. We will retain personal data for six weeks after we have notified the winners. After these six weeks, we will securely delete the data.
  11. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with other organisations or partners. You are providing your information to Lancaster University and not to any other party.   12. Lancaster University reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
