Campus Tours

We offer regular campus tours to enable potential applicants and their guests to visit our superb facilities. Your visit will give you a flavour of life at Lancaster, and we’re confident that it will inspire you to pick Lancaster as your chosen university.

Booking in advance is essential. Guests accompanying students do not require a ticket. Please select your preferred date below to reserve your place. 

 


Campus Tours

Campus tours take place throughout the year. Dates for upcoming tours are as follows:

Our Campus Tours are designed to acquaint you with our friendly campus and show you the facilities available to our students. The tour leaves the Welcome Centre at 2pm and current students will take you on a guided tour of the campus, showing you our award winning student accommodation, social venues, library and a lot more besides! The tour lasts approximately an hour and a half. Please be aware that the route for the campus tour is outdoors and will take place whatever the weather. If you are interested in the sports facilities at Lancaster you may wish to factor some time into your schedule to take the opportunity to visit our state of the art sports centre, which is located at the entrance to campus. Staff from the Sports Centre will show you the facilities and answer any questions you may have about sport at Lancaster.

 

 


Weekend Campus Tours

Due to demand we are pleased to offer the opportunity to have a tour of campus over the weekend. We offer a Saturday Campus Tour on a number of dates.

Our Campus Tours are designed to acquaint you with our friendly campus and show you the facilities available to our students. The tour leaves the Welcome Centre at 10.30am and current students will take you on a guided tour of the campus, showing you an example of accommodation, the library, social venues and a lot more besides! The tour finishes at approximately 12 noon. Please be aware that the route for the campus tour is outdoors and will take place whatever the weather. If you are interested in the sports facilities at Lancaster you may wish to factor some time into your schedule to take the opportunity to visit our state of the art sports centre, which is located at the entrance to campus. Staff from the Sports Centre will show you the facilities and answer any questions you may have about sport at Lancaster.


Campus Tour Extra

Our Campus Tour Extra, follows an itinerary designed to acquaint you with our friendly campus, along with the chance to meet with the department of your choice. The programme begins at 1.30pm with a Welcome to Lancaster talk followed by a guided tour of the campus from one of our current students. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to see our award-winning student accommodation, a range of social venues, our library and study areas and a lot more besides! After the tour, you’ll get to meet a department of your choice. The event will finish at approximately 4.30pm. This means that you’ll get to the chance to meet academic staff from the subject you’re interested in and ask any questions you may have about the courses we offer.
