Sponsors and Funders
The donations and funding we receive are key to us thriving as a Library, Museum and Research Centre.
The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) has made a huge contribution to the Museum's success beginning with their part-funding of the building in 1995. In 2001, HLF gave the Museum a substantial grant for a major three-year conservation project. Over 400 drawings and 125 historic early photographs were properly conserved as a result and have featured in major exhibitions - all are part of the Museum's Whitehouse Collection.
The Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC, previously AHRB) has been invaluable to us as a Museum and Research Centre, supporting many of our endeavours. They have funded a number of fascinating Ruskin-focused projects including electronic editions of Modern Painters I and John Ruskin's Venetian Notebooks.
