It will bring writers who have written in the cause of social inclusion and political liberty to Lancaster, engaging them in reading, performance and debate with live audiences. The events will also be recorded for our website.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Roger Bromley will launch the series with an inaugural lecture on October 17th, followed by a special PEN event featuring Robert Sharpe and novelist Gillian Slovo on November 22nd.
