Professor Paul Farley (English & Creative Writing) presents the documentary feature ‘Lunch Poems’ on BBC Radio 4 on Sunday 21st November. Paul travels to New York on the trail of one of the city’s most famous poets, Frank O’Hara, whose work has enjoyed a resurgence of interest since one of his poems was featured in the second season of TV series ‘Mad Men.’ Paul meets and talks to writers, scholars and poets who knew O’Hara, including John Ashbery.
