	 	Accommodation
For those who wish to stay overnight on Friday 24 March or Saturday 25 a conference rate of
£55.00 B&B at the Cedar Court Hotel (telephone: 01924 276310) has been established. This hotel
is situated only 4 miles from the Bretton Hall campus (take Junction 39 off the M1). Please book
directly with the hotel letting Reception know of your attendance at the conference to avoid paying
the full rate. The conference secretary will be staying here to help with transport. You may wish to
consult other hotels on the list ‘Local Hotels & Accommodation’ (.pdf file).
If you require a hard copy of this, please tick the box on the registration document. A Travelodge is
two miles from campus on the M1, and the Midgley Lodge motel is a similar distance (01924 830069).
If you do plan to stay overnight on Friday and can arrive early that day, it is strongly recommended
that you have a look round the Yorkshire Sculpture Park which shares the University grounds. A new visitor
centre has recently been completed. You will find details of the current exhibition at

http://www.ysp.co.uk (Beware, however! This website seems to take over your screen and won't
let you get back to where you came from.) A large exhibit by Sir Antony Caro is sited below our meeting room.
